Mahindra Comviva is an IT firm, headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana. The company is a part of Mahindra group. 

Founded in 1999, it has specialties in Mobile Financial Solutions, Internet & Broadband Solutions, MPOS, Mobility Solutions and Mobile Applications.

Selection Process:

The company conducts recruitment process every year to select new candidates. The selection process of the company consists of 4 rounds. 

These rounds are as follows:

Written Exam
Technical Interview I
Technical Interview II
HR Interview

Academic Criteria: (May vary)

65 percent throughout (Class X, XII and B.Tech).
No backlogs.
Gap in education upto 1 year.

Pattern of Written Exam:

Online Coding Round : This section contains 3 questions which is to be done in 120 minutes.

Aptitude + Technical Round: The breakup of this round is as:

The total time allotted to the written exam is 100 minutes. There is no negative marking in the paper.
English Language section consists of short reading comprehension passages. 

This section also consists of basic grammar usage questions like fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, paragraph completion, error based, vocabulary, sentence ordering etc.

Quantitative Ability section consists of questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, time, speed & distance, arithmetic, percentages, probability, permutation & combination, profit & loss, HCF, LCM, geometry, etc.

Logical Ability section consists of questions from the topics like number series, syllogisms, coding-decoding, directions, blood relations, etc.

Technical section involved questions from Computer concepts and C language. This section was tough and required thorough preparation. A person whose basics are clear could easily excel in this section.

Overall the level of the paper is moderate to difficult. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will qualify for the next round.

            INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE  (Rashmi Chandra)

1. Online Test:

Tests consists of 4-5 sections which includes aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, engineering questions (M.C.Q.’s on subjects like Data Structures, DBMS , Networking, Operating Systems, Embedded Systems, DAA, JAVA/C/C++ )

 2. Group Discussions:

 Group Discussion consisting of 10 people in each group. 2-3 people were selected from each group. 

Topics for discussion included topics like dowry system, impact make in India in Indian ecosystem, Digitisation in India, Environment related issues, social causes etc.

3. Technical Interviews:

Round 1 - It is a stress round, so I would like to suggest one should keep calm and answer all questions confidently and should not try to fake. 

At first basic, questions were asked on topics like Database, Data Structures, and oops concept. 

Later drilling down to the technicalities. Several questions were asked covering topics like Operating system and Networking. 

Sometimes interviewer asks you to write down program and tests your skills for writing optimized codes.

Round 2 - It is CV based interview. Interviewer was testing candidate’s knowledge by relating to relief examples and applications. 

For example : I had put Data Mining as my topics of interest in CV. He asked me to explain the application of data mining in telecom company.

4. HR Interview:

The candidates will be asked about their future plans, why they want to join this firm, expectation from firm in terms of salary, work culture, work locations etc.
